Purpose:

This file describes permitted uses of TestRoom content by automated language models (LLMs),

expectations for attribution, disallowed usage, data-retention rules, and contact information.
 
Allowed Uses:

- Non-commercial summarization and citation of any publicly accessible page or post on TestRoom, including pages, plans, blog posts, FAQs, and public content.  

- Indexing for search and discovery, respecting robots.txt and rate limits.  

- Academic or research use under permission granted via the contact page.
 
Disallowed Uses:

- Training closed-source commercial LLMs on content scraped from authenticated, paywalled, or account-restricted areas.  

- Bulk scraping exceeding reasonable limits or causing service degradation.  

- Redistribution or commercial use of proprietary content without explicit permission.
 
Attribution Requirement:

When quoting or using content from TestRoom (≥50 characters), include a visible citation:  

Example: “Source: TestRoom — https://www.testroom.com.au/<path>”
 
Data Retention & Deletion Requests:

- Temporary caches created while answering a query must be deleted within 30 days.  

- Permanent retention or model training requires explicit written permission.  

- To request deletion of cached data, contact: contact@testroom.com.au with subject “Data Deletion Request”.
 
Rate-Limit:

- Max automated requests: 5 requests/second per IP.  

- For higher throughput (research/bulk), contact the maintainer for a permit.
 
Robots & API:

- Respect /robots.txt at https://www.testroom.com.au/robots.txt.  

- For API integration, request API keys via the contact page.
